The Roo

Somehow I started calling Maverick, Mavaroo.  Then this was quickly shortened into just Roo.  I don't know where these names come from.  Somewhere deep inside my brain.  One day Josh commented on how they had started calling him Mavaroo aslo.  Then about 2 weeks later I referred to him as Roo, and Josh asked, "what is Roo? Is that what you are calling him now?" I said, "Yes, I nicknamed the nickname."  The next day Hallie texted me and asked if I could watch Roo.  What can I say.  I'm a trend setter.

I caption these types of pics "adoring fans."  Jacob's friends LOVE him, and he is MESMERIZED by them.

One day I was watching him and I strolled him to meet Jacob after school.  A mom started talking to me as Jacob walked up.  Uncle Bob quickly took the stroller and walked home.  This is what I walked up to when I got there.  (I finally got rid of the loveseat. Yay for me, sadness for Jacob).  They were watching his friends play basketball.

 Roo bootie

I don't have a bathseat (one of the few things I don't have) and they are stupid expensive.  I could have bought one from a consignment store but I forgot about it.  Anyway, I saw this on Pinterest I think.  Worked like a charm.

Oh yes they did.  This thing is remote controlled by the parents but can switch over to let him drive it when he is able.

 Just cuteness and love.

To say I'm obsessed is an understatement.

He was watching the boys play football-the pic below.  Again, mesmerized.

  1. You nicknamed the nickname. Of course you did. That's awesome.
Love the video of him watching the boys. And the pic of his fans around him.

Also, I miss the loveseat, and it was never even mine. There were some good pics of it.

That Roo is such a cutie!!!!!!!!
