Overdue

Abby and one of her good friends from highschool, Kristina.  Kristina ended up being Abby's big sister in her sorority.

Hallie sent me the pic of Mav eating an apple one day and I thought, "I've seen this somewhere before..."  Oh yea, when my own kid did the same exact pose...

No way I was passing this shirt up.

We watched Roo one weekend.  It's possible a trip to Walmart was made and toys were bought...
He LOVES soft things.  It's so cute.

He also loves him some Uncle Bob.

They were giving out legit candy this year.  Do you see the WHOLE candy bars??? What on earth.

Jacob's Halloween candy bag was so heavy I had to come home to weigh it.  8 POUNDS!!

A new canvas joined the wall.  The cutest of all I would say.

Jacob spent the night with Hallie one night when I was dying recovering from kidney stone surgery and she sent me this text.  Read it in the order it is numbered in.  Josh has a TON of cologne.  Kind of like a woman with shoes.

 Crazy hair day at school.

Mav figuring out how to handle one of those snack cups that you can stick your hand in but the snack doesn't spill out.

Date night with Abby's sorority.  There was a dress up theme, so she and a friend went as city vs country.  Or something like that...  I think the main goal for both of them was, "what can we do with what we have in our closet already???"

 I don't know.  He's just a goofy cutie.

I literally had to force him to sit and watch The Great Pumpkin with me.  But then he was glued.

Jacob's school participates in a thing called "All Pro Dads."  They have a breakfast for the kids and their dads or father figure about 4 (6?) times a year and then have a speaker come.  They also have a have a raffle during which a certain someone might donate Sonic gift cards each time ;)  Anyway, the Grizzly mascot came to the first one this year.
Clearly, the dad (Jon) was the one documenting-thus, the fuzziness and the far-away-ness.  I would have been all up in the middle of everything.  However, at least he did document for my, so I can not complain.
Michael, Jacob, Beau, and Julian (whose dad is actually the one who coordinates the breakfasts).

The trick or treat crew:  Ben (Noah's little brother. Shout our for younger siblings tagging along with the big kids), Julian, Noah, Beau, and Jacob.

Jacob was supposed to be doing his homework.  Imagine my delight when I check Instagram and see this pic with the post "My mom thinks I'm doing homework."  My little genius.

Roo loves his Papa Jon too.

No, I do not know what this costume was supposed to be.  All I know is that the day before Halloween one of the news channels did a spot on "the most dangerous costumes for your kid to wear trick or treating" and this was one of the top because it makes it hard for them to see, and hard for cars to see them.  #ofcourseitwas

 hilarious

He had been trying to pull the hood off but then saw himself in the mirror and stopped to admire instead.

The boy loves pj pants these days.  He used to like sleeping in regular shorts.

Jacob and friend RJ when we did the zombie paintball thing at Shelby Farms.
