Where I spend every Wednesday-in the computer lab teaching typing. All the TAs do this so the teachers can have extended planning time. See the poster and the banner on the back wall? I made the poster for each lab and got the school to pay for making the banners. The poster helps them log in, and the banner is a giant keyboard that we can point to.
Lindsey came up with this idea for the bulletin board and I recruited Kaya to draw the Starbucks logo on the cup.

I love running into past elementary students. These guys, and one mom, are in middle school now.
If the kids are good in typing I let them play games (educational ones) for the last 5 minutes. Some of the girls like just free typing and these 2 typed me a note.

The birthday invite that Hallie sent for Lucy's birthday. Names are in order of importance of course.
A little 2nd grader name Xiomara lied to me about something. I didn't even know she had until the teacher figured it out and made her apologize to me. She wrote this letter and cried the biggest, fattest tears when she gave it to me.
In the cafeteria we do this thing where the tables (classes) compete against each other by making sure their table is clean, they aren't acting like crazy people and yelling, etc. We give the "Golden Dragon" to the winning classes. During Christmas when the cafeteria elf on the shelf was there (Cheffie) he made a giant golden dragon.
One of our art teachers decided to enter the Christmas Parade this year and made a float representing our school. We actually ended up winning 2nd place.
This is Connor. One day he asked me for a Braggin Dragon (a little ticket thing that we use as a reward system). I tore off a little corner. Then the next day I gave him another tiny piece, and so on until I had given him all the pieces. Then he taped them together. I couldn't believe he actually kept up with them all.
